The auxin receptor is composed of two proteins: the SCF complex component TIR1 and the repressor protein AUX/IAA. Ubiquitin moieties are first activated by E1 ligase and added to target proteins by E2 ligase.

Bioplastic

Polyhydroxyalkanoates (PHAs), e.g., po1yhydroxybutyrate (PHB), are synthesized from Acetyl co.A used as precursor, and are used for the synthesis of biodegradable plastics with thermoplastic properties. 

At present, PHAs are produced by bacterial fermentation based on Ralstonia eutropha.

For the generation of transgenic plant in crop improvement, one important regulatory gene ‘X’ was overexpressed in a crop plant.
