Domain, I functions in pore and ion channel formations, 

Domain II is involved in receptor recognition, 

Domain III binds the receptor and affects channel properties. The toxin fragments arc believed to bind to specific high-affinity receptors present in the brush border of midgut epithelial cells

Cry proteins, in general, have no adverse effects on higher animals, including mammals since, there are no specific receptors in the gastrointestinal tracts of mammals.

Adenoviruses are large linear double-stranded DNA viruses. Their large size enables them to accept large inserts.

These vectors are advantageous in that they can deliver many genome copies per host cell and so typically are associated with high expression.

Proteins encoded by early region (E1, E2, E3, E4) genes are involved in viral DNA replication, cell cycle modulation and defense system. The late region genes (L1, L2, L3, L4, L5) encodes the viral structural proteins.
