What is the reason behind that the PAS-related domain (PRD) is only present in the Plant phytochrome, but absent in cyanobacterial Cph1 and Bacterial BphP?

#Unit 6. System Physiology – Plant
  1. nucleus is absent in the bacteria that’s why PRD domain is not present
  2. β-hairpin region is formed which inhibits two PAS-related domain (PRD) repeats formation
  3. HK domain is present in the bacteria on the C- terminus moiety which inhibits the expression of PRD domain
  4. Histidine kinase is enough sufficient to perform the function of the PRD domain
